A week ago it was my wedding anniversary. Xena and I originally had plans to check out one of the French restaurants in Katoomba or Leura. But because it was a Tuesday night, they were closed. This turned out to be a good thing, because we ended up going to The Ferns on Megalong, and that turned out to be a very fine place to dine indeed. Xena is a bit of a food Nazi, but she personally complimented the chef not once but twice, and made me leave a ten dollar tip. It would have been more, I'm certain, but that's all I could afford. 'Outstanding' would be a great adjective to describe it. Looking for a great place to eat? I'd seriously recommend it.
